COVID-19 Protocols

I will communicate with you beforehand to obtain updates to your health information and ask you specifically about your potential exposure to COVID-19 and any underlying conditions that might put you at greater risk.

When you arrive at the office, I’ll ask that you wait outside until I text you or call you to come in. This ensures that we don’t have people in the reception area.

If you feel ill on the day of your session, there is no penalty for canceling your appointment.

Please bring a face mask to use while you are in the building and during your treatment. If you don't have a suitable mask I will provide one.

I will ask you to sign an informed consent form that states, “I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By signing this form, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive treatment from this practitioner.”

I will notify you that your name and contact information might be shared with the state health department in the event that a client or practitioner at this facility tests positive for COVID-19. Your contact details will only be shared in the event they are relevant based on suspected exposure date, and only for appropriate follow-up by the health department.

The CDC suggests that infected respiratory droplets can be dispersed through talking, so we will have limited communication during the session.

There is a hand-hygiene station that I will ask you to use when you enter the office.
In-person Amherst appointments are currently being scheduled on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. See new COVID-19 protocols below.
Accessibility
For in-person sessions, please let me know if you anticipate any difficulty walking up one flight of stairs or reclining on a standard massage table. The table can accommodate clients up to 6' 5" tall and up to 300 lbs.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that unplanned issues come up that may necessitate rescheduling or cancelling a scheduled appointment. Please contact me at least 24-hours prior to the scheduled appointment time to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of the full session.
